Welcome to Stuff I Love: Tried & Tested Garden Essentials – a small, carefully chosen collection of the tools and garden goodies that actually earn their place in my life as a flower farmer.

Nothing lands on this page because it looks cute in a catalogue. If it’s here, it has:

• worked hard in my own flower field,

• survived more than one season of sowing, planting and harvesting, and

• proven itself useful enough that I don’t want to be without it.

These are the things that live in my pocket, next to the potting bench and in the back of the bakkie. Quiet, practical helpers that make real gardening tasks – from planting to harvesting – smoother, quicker or just more enjoyable.

Over time, I’ll slowly add more of the “stuff I love”:
reliable tools, clever little gadgets, maybe a book or two.  I would rather keep this collection small and honest than fill it with products I don’t personally believe in.
