Return & Refund Policy
At Love Dahlias, we take great pride in supplying healthy, high-quality dahlia tubers that are carefully grown, divided, inspected, and packed by hand. We want every customer to be happy with their order, and we stand behind the quality of what we ship.
What You Can Expect From Us
Tubers are sold as single, individual tubers. We only ship viable, intact tubers with a body, neck, and crown. Please note that eyes may not be visible on all tubers at the time of shipping, as eyes often develop later once growth begins. Every tuber is personally divided and inspected for health issues, and variety names are strictly controlled to prevent mix-ups.
Inspection on Arrival
Please open and inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If there is any issue with your tubers (damage in transit, rot, incorrect items, or missing stock), you must notify us within 5 days of delivery. After this period, we are unable to accept claims, as the condition of live plant material depends on storage, handling, and growing conditions beyond our control.
Replacements & Refunds
If there is a genuine concern raised within the 5-day inspection window, we will offer one of the following based on stock availability:
• A replacement tuber of the same variety
• A store credit for the affected item
• A refund if no replacement stock is available
We may request photos to assist with assessment and quality improvement.
Limitations & Non-Returnable Items
Once tubers have been stored beyond 5 days, planted, or exposed to unsuitable conditions, they cannot be returned or refunded. We cannot take responsibility for issues caused by:
• Weather or climate conditions
• Soil quality, pests, or diseases
• Storage, planting method, or handling
• Natural growing failures outside our control
Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs (if required) are the responsibility of the customer unless we made an error.
Incorrect Orders
If you received the wrong item, please notify us within 5 days and we will correct it quickly.
Seasonal Sales
Dahlia tubers are sold seasonally and quantities are limited. If an item is unavailable, replacements may only be possible the following year.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
