Ranunculus FAQ
When should I plant ranunculus in South Africa?
Plant ranunculus during the cooler months, from approximately March or April through to early June, depending on your area. This gives the plants time to grow before flowering from late winter into spring.
Do I need to soak ranunculus corms before planting?
Yes. Soak them in room-temperature water for 2–3 hours to help them absorb moisture and plump up. Don’t leave them soaking overnight, as this may increase the risk of rot.
Can I grow ranunculus in pots?
Yes. Choose a container with good drainage, use a fertile, free-draining potting mix and place it in full sun.
Will every pack contain exactly the same orange shades?
No. Tangerine contains a range of orange shades, and the exact shades and proportions may vary naturally between packs.
When will my ranunculus corm pre-order be shipped?
Pre-orders for this product will begin shipping from March 2027. Orders are packed and dispatched in batches, and tracking details will be provided when your parcel leaves us.
